I haven’t had much spare time for writing this week – although I’ve got about 45 drafts of notes to publish – but Simpletalk have just published the “learning SQL Server” paper I sent them a couple of weeks ago, and it’s worth a link.

That was a really nice article. I strikes me that this is a pretty big undertaking. I too was surprised that the temporary table solution wasn’t faster. My SQL Server folks that surround me use them all the time – although I suppose there are situation where they really speed things up. Quality work, thanks for sharing.
