My dad’s advice is still good. Although he was referring to books, newspapers, magazines and such: “Don’t believe anything just because someone wrote it down!” still applies well to all written communications.

So true: anyone who’s got an autographed copy of my book “Cost Based Oracle – Fundamentals” will know that I include the comment: “Just because it’s printed doesn’t mean it’s true”.
