Yes, I admit it, I do thought experiments. It started with idle thoughts watching the clouds go by. That was just the gateway. It seemed harmless enough, certainly the thought police wouldn’t concern themselves with childish prattle? Now I can’t help myself, I’m drawn down, down into the horrible maelstrom of circumnavigating neurons as I watch the swirling waters in a shower, a stream, a urinal. Maelstrom! I pine for the Norwegian fjords.
Now I see it in my own progeny, and know not the words to prevent this horrible echo through the aeons.
