I wouldn&#039;t have thought so (at least, as far as basic Oracle tables go).

If you enable the 10053 trace against an  &quot;insert into table () values()&quot; then you will see that the optimizer code path does get visited, but it doesn&#039;t seem to say anything about object-level statistics.]]></description>
